Two Four... Two Four!

This last week was Jordon's Birthday week! We had so much fun everyday!! That is the exact reason that I wanted to do birthday weeks... to have extra fun every day for a specific reason.

This year we didn't have quite the money we did last year so we only did 3 presents for 3 days but the reason that we didn't have money for 7 presents was because I threw Jordon his first ever SURPRISE PARTY!!

On Monday I drove him to school so he didn't have to worry about parking and walking in snow. When I picked him up I gave him his 1st present which was a new belt. His old one was breaking so I though a reversible, white and navy, cloth belt from A.E. would be fitting!! It was on sale too!

On Tuesday I drove him to school again and picked him up. His 2nd present was a new pair of winter gloves that even have thumb slots you can remove so that you can text! Pretty cool!!

Wednesday I gave him a new shirt that looks soo good on him! We rented a redbox and went to bed early. We both needed lots of sleep!! Thank goodness he doesn't mind going to bed early.

Thursday we hung out after he got done with a safety meeting for work. We walked the mall looking for Christmas presents for our families. Then we went home got ready and dropped Princess off at my parents for a "nice evening out just the 2 of us." Jordon wanted to go to Buddy's for his birthday dinner. Little did he know that we only had a half hour to eat before the party was set to start. Anyways, we sat down and ordered and started eating the delish buddy's salad when I noticed what time it was. I told Jordon that my brother couldn't watch Hads any more so we had to leave. He got a little irritated but said ok. We got our food to go. I told him that I wanted to give him his last present before we got Hads but he had to close his eyes so he couldn't see where we were going. He did, but he didn't really want to.

We arrived at this new place in Poky called "The Sandlot". It had batting cages and a little birthday room and it was perfect! So we arrived and I led him with his eyes closed inside and upstairs to where our families were waiting. We got up and in the room and then I turned on the light and everyone yelled "Surprise!!" He was so surprised he didn't know what to say. We ate pumpkin cake then went down and played kickball. After that we opened up the cages and hit for about 45 minutes. It was so fun! It was a little expensive, but so worth being broke the next week or so!!

Friday was his real birthday but I had to work so we didn't do anything too big. After I got off work Jordon and Jake had a surprise for me! They had fixed the hot tub and the new hot tub cover. We ate left overs from Buddy's and then went and got shakes from Artic Circle. We rented movies from Video Stop and headed home. Hads got put to bed early cuz she was up late the 3 nights before. Then, the 2 of us watched "Our Family Wedding" which was so funny!

It was a great birthday week and I'm so happy that I got to throw my husby his first surprise party. 24 is a great age and I can't wait to spend the next 50 birthdays with him on Earth and an Eternity in Heaven!

awake again

so lately i have been feeling like i need a change.
i dont know from what but i need one.
i am thinking maybe its my current job.
not a huge fan of higher management.
i may be put on an action plan, sales are low.
or i may be fired if i cant meet thresh hold.
honestly, i would be a little sad but i would be happy to be home with my 2 babies Ti and Hads.

I feel bad saying this but really, I give great customer service and make people feel good about banking with us and I save accounts. I just am having a hard time getting people to open more accounts or a new account. I know Rosie is feeling pressured. Its not her fault. Or mine really.
You cant make someone do something they dont want to with their money.

anyways i am loving this nice warm weather! cant get enough of it.
i could however get more sleep. like alot more

Hadleigh had her 15 mon check up on monday and her stats are:
Weight: 26 lbs, 80%
Height: 311/2 70%
Head Cir: 15 in 80%
pretty much this says that i have a beast of a daughter.
where she came from i have no idea!
but i sure do love her.
she also has a double ear infection.
poor baby. bad mommy.
she still wakes up crying in the middle of the night
that is why i am currently up
couldnt fall back asleep
i think i am taking her back in on tuesday
her meds will be in her for a week then
maybe her ears will show improvement

so that is my 4:30 am feels like 5:30 am post for Sunday.

i think i will be back after church, and a nap to say more.

good early morning to you!

It was a SPOOOOK-TACULAR Halloween

This Halloween was much better than last years and the year before! Two years ago we were in Utah waiting the night away at my grandparents house. Jordon had an Italian test at the Y the next morning. Last year Jordon had to work and I stayed home, with a 3 month old baby, with no lights on and watched Hocus Pocus... which by-the-way kinda scares me still. This year we went to Trunk-or-Treat, Jordon actually dressed up, Hadleigh hung out with other kids, and on the real Halloween I had her in her jack-o-lantern baby leggs leggings!! Awe... much better!

We went to the annual pumpkin carve in the B.L.K (blackfoot) and Mack won.. who'd'a guessed!! Haha. And then took pictures of the kids in their costumes on Friday. Saturday I worked but got off early to go T-or-T and then we watched Spencer and Jackies dog Champ too! Sunday was so fun!!!

Anyways, here are our pictures!! I think we make for a great African Adventure!

Fabulous Four

When I arrived in my old set of clothes I was half a world away from my home And I was hunted by the wolves and I was heckled by the crows Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Alongside my innocence I laid in bed awake Conflicted and in chains with the impetus of age But like a phantom she crept across the floor and out the window Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know From its place on the mantle my heart was taken down Scattered in a thousand little pieces on the ground And out below the streetlamp like an orphan with a halo Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know 'Cause it won't last - your worries will pass All your troubles they don't stand a chance And sometimes it takes more than a lifetime to know Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Your confidences fall, is your faith etched in stone? Neither can comfort you from the wild unknown
So bury your burning hatred like a hatchet in the snow
Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know If you have a broken heart or a battered soul Find something to hold on to or to let go To help you through the hard nights like a flask filled with hope Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know 'Cause it won't last - your worries will pass All your troubles they don't stand a chance And it always hurts the worst when it's the ones we love the most Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Sometimes your path is marked in the sky Sometimes you're forced to fit in between the lines Sometimes all that you can do is say no Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know I said, when I arrived in my old set of clothes I was half a world away from my home And I was hunted by the wolves and I was heckled by the crows Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know I said, Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know

This song by Brett Dennen is one of the songs that has brought comfort to me in times when I thought that I was beyond comforting. I highlighted the parts I like the most. Hope you like them too.

My dear little Samuel Lani turned 4 on Thursday. He has gotten so big! I can't even believe that he is that old or that I was pregnant with him that long ago. Time has gone so quick. Which is good... and a little sad.

His birthday party was so fun. It always is and we always get some pretty cute pictures. This year he was so excited with his toys that we didn't get a picture together but I did get one of him and Nani playing together. One thing that I like about working is that on the Wednesdays that I do work Hads gets to go over to Sams house. Alex was kind enough to volunteer to watch her for me on Wednesdays. Now my 2 kiddies will be able to get to know each other on a close level and I get to watch her play with the other 2 boys as well. Anyways, we had soup... homemade from the garden soup!! Then we had "football" cake and ice cream. We opened some awesome presents and then played!! Well, we all watched the kids play and us grown-ups chit-chatted. It was great! We didn't take very many pictures since our camera is on Hadleigh over-load but I know that Alex will be sending some my way and I will scan them and post them later when I get them.

I am truly blessed. In most of the letters/journal entries I make to/about Sammy I call him my angel. He really really is. He is my saving grace. He saved me from a life that would have left me sad and lonely and without the spirit to guide me. He saved me from staying with a bad boyfriend. He saved me from moving to California all alone. He brought me closer to my family. He gave me a new perspective on life. He lead me to new friends that really understood what I was feeling. He gave me the strength to get up when I thought the world was full of bad people. He gave me a whole new family to love and enjoy and grow close to. He saved me. I hope he knows that I tried to save him too. I placed him in the arms of a woman that I knew could be everything that he needed.

Here's the CUTEST pictures that I have from the party!! Loves!

FOUR

Yesterday was my little Samuel's 4th birthday. He is getting so big. I love him more and more every year. I miss him too. Tomorrow is his birthday party. Then Sunday will be the anniversary of placement. This week has been and will continue to be a hard one. Wish me luck. At least I have my Hadleigh Belle-Belle to kiss on. It helped last year and I am hoping she will help me this year too!

Post more when I can be happier about things.... plus who doesn't want to see the cute kids I make?? Pictures to come too!!!

I guess I have a weekly routine

Blogging on Sunday seems to have become a routine! Finally, I have some sort of schedule. I thought with work I would have a more set schedule BUT it hasn't been that way so my life is crazy!! Finding time for everything has gotten harder! I wish that I had more of an influence at work so that I could get time off, a set schedule ect ect.

So, anyways, blogging on Sunday is nice. This week was sooo weird. Jordon worked from Saturday to Wednesday and then was gone all day Saturday and went back to work today. Us girls sure missed having him around. Luckily, we get to have him til Thursday! Want to know the best part about this week??? I only work 3 days!! And I get to play with Hads 3 days in a row and go to the temple and see our family in Blackfoot and (hopefully) get our hot tub fixed!!

Awe- this week is going to be great. I am excited. We are all excited! Can't wait for the Temple. We are doing sealings. It will be so nice!

I will update you with some pictures of our little one!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Conference was great this weekend. I missed Saturdays but we did DVR it so slowly we will be watching it on Sundays. We have to spread it out so we can actually pay attention and not just have it on. A one year old makes things more complicated at times. Anyways, I love Conference weekend for many reasons but my top 3 you ask:

  1. Great talks that make my life so much better. My questions answered. My spirit lifted.
  2. NO SHAVING... I usually only shave twice a week cuz I get razor burn and I only have to shave my legs once... no one sees my legs Sunday!
  3. My mom's Carmel rolls! Every Easter, Conference, Christmas my mom makes these delish items that I have to partake in! This year I had to beg her to make them this year!
Yes- those are a few of my favorite things about Conference. Plus I get to spend time with my family and extended family.

P.S.
My Thursday, Friday babysitter is moving.
this week.
just found out Saturday.
Luckily my Aunty T. is going to watch her.
So happy!
Welcome To Our Crazy Wonderful life!
