Hippity Hoppity to General Conference!

Can we say this was an amazing Easter/Conference weekend? Yes I think that we can! Let's see... where to begin... Ahh.. Thursday!

Thursday was a great day! Jordon got extra time off from work for the Holiday and he also had the day off from school! What a blessing! We sat around in the morning and caught up on our last few days of events. Jordon and I then went to bed! Hadleigh wanted her nap early so the 3 of us laid down for about 2 hours. Then Hadleigh and I got up and played until 5 when Jordon joined us! He made us hamburgers! Hads wanted to join...

We ordered 2012 from the T.V. and then because I was getting so emotional we got in the hot tub. I am NOT used to crying every time I watch something that could be slightly touching!! We all went to bed early.

Friday we "slept in" until 8:30! Yay! Then hung out and got dressed so Jordon could go to school for an hour. When he got back the girls went to see Pops and Lolli Hanohano. Don't tell my mom that I called her that! She hates it! They were lucky enough to get tickets to go see Conference Live and I wanted Hadleigh to spend a little time with them. Friday night was an easy night with just the hot tub. Jordon had to work on homework so it wasn't very eventful!

Saturday we got up and cleaned the whole house! I mean vacuum, bathroom, sweep/mop, dust both upstairs and downstairs! I was irritated when I got up so I did a little more cleaning than was necessary. (I clean almost everyday rotating what is cleaned. I know that is a little obsessive but I don't want my princess getting sick or dirty!) I then did laundry as well! We got it all done by 11! THREE HOURS FLAT the house was clean. Jordon helped out so much! I really appreciate all that he does when he has extra time off. After we got done cleaning we went shopping. When I say shopping I mean Wal Mart. It was so crazy busy and we had to make TWO trips!

The best thing about Saturday was seeing Sammy! That kid lights up my life! He is so funny and so not like his brothers... he is quiet and reserved and just as cute as can be. I am just so grateful that I got to see the whole family. I got them some Easter presents and the hit of the day was silly string! They used up all three cans in about 10 minutes. Jordon does so great with the P's! He reminds me alot of David. Maybe it's because they both went to Snake River but I think it's their personalities.

I know that we forgot about Conference but we did tape it! We are going to watch it this week. We could use a mid-week up-lifting. Jordon did miss out on the Priesthood session though which was my biggest regret of the weekend. We came home and he worked on homework and then went to bed.

Sunday was a WONDERFUL day! Jordon made me raspberry muffins (well mostly made).

Guess who visited our house?! The Easter Bunny came! Here is what he brought us!
We got to watch the full first session in peace! Hadleigh took her nap at 10 and then we had to wake her at 12! Hallie came and watched with us since everyone else was gone and then went to see Jared. Those two... silly kids! My favorite talk of the morning was.. all of them! They all were great! I loved the messages of love, the Atonement, motherhood, all the speakers had very similar talks. Uchtdorf's did hit the spot and so did Sister Lant's. Ahh.. all of them were great!
We went to Blackfoot to watch the second session and Hadleigh did pretty good. She knew the Prophets were talking and I think that she could feel the spirit even stronger than the rest of us! We got to eat delicious food, talk and dye eggs! It was so fun to give the Mauger kiddo's their presents.

All in all the Easter spirit was resounding. I feel a whole new air about our house and in myself.

My testimony has been strengthened.

My love and appreciation for the Lord had increased.

He lives.
