Where to start??!?

I dont even know where this month has gone but so many things have happened. So I will try to tell all the exciting news.

I forgot some of the lovely presents that I got from my loving family!! Snow jacket, goggles, boots, new golfing wind breaker, lots of other stuff too!!

Hadleigh was sick the week of my birthday. So I had the week off!! Jordon went to San Diego for some ACN training and learning other things. I missed him so much! So happy he went and got motivated. He got his Christmas early. I also gave him some "dressy" things to make him look the part of a "top seller".

Ok, So the week of Christmas the 20 to the 22 we went to Provo to see all my moms siblings and my cousins!! My grandma bought us ski passes to Sundance and I even got a private ski lesson! It was so fun to see my cousin R.C or little Craig was super fun and seeing my Uncle Kip was amazing! I have missed those 2 so so much! Jordon got to snowboard two days in a row!! I sure hope that he had fun. My family is the bestest!

Then I worked Thursday and a half day Friday. Friday night we went up to Blackfoot and had our Christmas Eve with the Clarks. Hadleigh had so much fun and got some cute things but it was Jordon who got super super spoiled!! He got so many golf things he doesn't even know what to do with them!! I got some cute decor and a lovely picture of the Twin Falls Temple that I can hang in our home! I love it so much!

We stayed the night up in Blackfoot and woke up early on the day of Santa! Venus made a delish breakfast and we stayed and watched Jake open presents.

We then went to my parents and opened presents. My mom got us some very needed temple bags money and some other little things. I got some blue Sapphire and diamond earrings and a necklace. They are AMAZING!! Hads was spoiled spoiled!! My parents got a wii last year and this year they got Just Dance which is so so so fun!!! We played that forever! Finally we made it to our house and Hadleigh was so presented out that she didn't really open her few presents we got her. Thank goodness she went to bed easy that night.

We had a great December and a very family filled Christmas! I don't think that I could've asked for a better ending to a great year!

Happy New Year

Oh what a joyous event!

This past week was my birthday week! Jordon started on Nov. 30th with the best surprises!! First, I got the new scent Winter Wonderland both the spray and lotion!! I fell in love with smell when it first came out and I was so surprised that he got me both! Then I got Twilight Woods.. also, a fav! I got the cutest table cloth as well... Jordon thought that I wouldn't like it BUT it was sooo cute! Jordon invited our families over for cake and ice creme and he made my favorite cake (funfetti). And for my final gift I got Taylor Swifts new CD, a date including a free dinner and some sweet kisses! My parents took Hads and I to dinner on my "real" birthday cuz Jordon had to work! It was a great birthday week.

On a sad note, Monday night Hads woke up with a temp of 102 and threw up. She also, started having super runny diapers and a runny nose! Poor baby! She is doing a little better but not much. She isn't throwing up so that good right?! Anyways, I hope we both sleep goo tonight, in our own beds, and not on the couch!

TTYL!

To Give

I love Thanksgiving. I feel like it gets forgotten. Its the holiday that gets passed over for Christmas. But it's a great holiday!! It's a time to get together and remember what we have and to GIVE to others.

We got to spend this year with both our families. First we went to Blackfoot and had some delish foods!! And football of course!!

We then went to my Aunts house to eat with my family and some extended family. It was sooo good! My Auntie made musubi!!! Its a spam, rice and seaweed treat that makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

I love that we can celebrate our holidays with close family but I miss seeing my family in Utah. All the food was sooo good and we ate so much that we hardly had left overs!!

I only took 2.. TWO pictures!! And they wont load so.... just imagine the cutest little girl with her adoring parents!

Two Four... Two Four!

This last week was Jordon's Birthday week! We had so much fun everyday!! That is the exact reason that I wanted to do birthday weeks... to have extra fun every day for a specific reason.

This year we didn't have quite the money we did last year so we only did 3 presents for 3 days but the reason that we didn't have money for 7 presents was because I threw Jordon his first ever SURPRISE PARTY!!

On Monday I drove him to school so he didn't have to worry about parking and walking in snow. When I picked him up I gave him his 1st present which was a new belt. His old one was breaking so I though a reversible, white and navy, cloth belt from A.E. would be fitting!! It was on sale too!

On Tuesday I drove him to school again and picked him up. His 2nd present was a new pair of winter gloves that even have thumb slots you can remove so that you can text! Pretty cool!!

Wednesday I gave him a new shirt that looks soo good on him! We rented a redbox and went to bed early. We both needed lots of sleep!! Thank goodness he doesn't mind going to bed early.

Thursday we hung out after he got done with a safety meeting for work. We walked the mall looking for Christmas presents for our families. Then we went home got ready and dropped Princess off at my parents for a "nice evening out just the 2 of us." Jordon wanted to go to Buddy's for his birthday dinner. Little did he know that we only had a half hour to eat before the party was set to start. Anyways, we sat down and ordered and started eating the delish buddy's salad when I noticed what time it was. I told Jordon that my brother couldn't watch Hads any more so we had to leave. He got a little irritated but said ok. We got our food to go. I told him that I wanted to give him his last present before we got Hads but he had to close his eyes so he couldn't see where we were going. He did, but he didn't really want to.

We arrived at this new place in Poky called "The Sandlot". It had batting cages and a little birthday room and it was perfect! So we arrived and I led him with his eyes closed inside and upstairs to where our families were waiting. We got up and in the room and then I turned on the light and everyone yelled "Surprise!!" He was so surprised he didn't know what to say. We ate pumpkin cake then went down and played kickball. After that we opened up the cages and hit for about 45 minutes. It was so fun! It was a little expensive, but so worth being broke the next week or so!!

Friday was his real birthday but I had to work so we didn't do anything too big. After I got off work Jordon and Jake had a surprise for me! They had fixed the hot tub and the new hot tub cover. We ate left overs from Buddy's and then went and got shakes from Artic Circle. We rented movies from Video Stop and headed home. Hads got put to bed early cuz she was up late the 3 nights before. Then, the 2 of us watched "Our Family Wedding" which was so funny!

It was a great birthday week and I'm so happy that I got to throw my husby his first surprise party. 24 is a great age and I can't wait to spend the next 50 birthdays with him on Earth and an Eternity in Heaven!

awake again

so lately i have been feeling like i need a change.
i dont know from what but i need one.
i am thinking maybe its my current job.
not a huge fan of higher management.
i may be put on an action plan, sales are low.
or i may be fired if i cant meet thresh hold.
honestly, i would be a little sad but i would be happy to be home with my 2 babies Ti and Hads.

I feel bad saying this but really, I give great customer service and make people feel good about banking with us and I save accounts. I just am having a hard time getting people to open more accounts or a new account. I know Rosie is feeling pressured. Its not her fault. Or mine really.
You cant make someone do something they dont want to with their money.

anyways i am loving this nice warm weather! cant get enough of it.
i could however get more sleep. like alot more

Hadleigh had her 15 mon check up on monday and her stats are:
Weight: 26 lbs, 80%
Height: 311/2 70%
Head Cir: 15 in 80%
pretty much this says that i have a beast of a daughter.
where she came from i have no idea!
but i sure do love her.
she also has a double ear infection.
poor baby. bad mommy.
she still wakes up crying in the middle of the night
that is why i am currently up
couldnt fall back asleep
i think i am taking her back in on tuesday
her meds will be in her for a week then
maybe her ears will show improvement

so that is my 4:30 am feels like 5:30 am post for Sunday.

i think i will be back after church, and a nap to say more.

good early morning to you!

It was a SPOOOOK-TACULAR Halloween

This Halloween was much better than last years and the year before! Two years ago we were in Utah waiting the night away at my grandparents house. Jordon had an Italian test at the Y the next morning. Last year Jordon had to work and I stayed home, with a 3 month old baby, with no lights on and watched Hocus Pocus... which by-the-way kinda scares me still. This year we went to Trunk-or-Treat, Jordon actually dressed up, Hadleigh hung out with other kids, and on the real Halloween I had her in her jack-o-lantern baby leggs leggings!! Awe... much better!

We went to the annual pumpkin carve in the B.L.K (blackfoot) and Mack won.. who'd'a guessed!! Haha. And then took pictures of the kids in their costumes on Friday. Saturday I worked but got off early to go T-or-T and then we watched Spencer and Jackies dog Champ too! Sunday was so fun!!!

Anyways, here are our pictures!! I think we make for a great African Adventure!

Fabulous Four

When I arrived in my old set of clothes I was half a world away from my home And I was hunted by the wolves and I was heckled by the crows Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Alongside my innocence I laid in bed awake Conflicted and in chains with the impetus of age But like a phantom she crept across the floor and out the window Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know From its place on the mantle my heart was taken down Scattered in a thousand little pieces on the ground And out below the streetlamp like an orphan with a halo Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know 'Cause it won't last - your worries will pass All your troubles they don't stand a chance And sometimes it takes more than a lifetime to know Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Your confidences fall, is your faith etched in stone? Neither can comfort you from the wild unknown
So bury your burning hatred like a hatchet in the snow
Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know If you have a broken heart or a battered soul Find something to hold on to or to let go To help you through the hard nights like a flask filled with hope Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know 'Cause it won't last - your worries will pass All your troubles they don't stand a chance And it always hurts the worst when it's the ones we love the most Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know Sometimes your path is marked in the sky Sometimes you're forced to fit in between the lines Sometimes all that you can do is say no Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know I said, when I arrived in my old set of clothes I was half a world away from my home And I was hunted by the wolves and I was heckled by the crows Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know I said, Darlin' do not fear what you don't really know

This song by Brett Dennen is one of the songs that has brought comfort to me in times when I thought that I was beyond comforting. I highlighted the parts I like the most. Hope you like them too.

My dear little Samuel Lani turned 4 on Thursday. He has gotten so big! I can't even believe that he is that old or that I was pregnant with him that long ago. Time has gone so quick. Which is good... and a little sad.

His birthday party was so fun. It always is and we always get some pretty cute pictures. This year he was so excited with his toys that we didn't get a picture together but I did get one of him and Nani playing together. One thing that I like about working is that on the Wednesdays that I do work Hads gets to go over to Sams house. Alex was kind enough to volunteer to watch her for me on Wednesdays. Now my 2 kiddies will be able to get to know each other on a close level and I get to watch her play with the other 2 boys as well. Anyways, we had soup... homemade from the garden soup!! Then we had "football" cake and ice cream. We opened some awesome presents and then played!! Well, we all watched the kids play and us grown-ups chit-chatted. It was great! We didn't take very many pictures since our camera is on Hadleigh over-load but I know that Alex will be sending some my way and I will scan them and post them later when I get them.

I am truly blessed. In most of the letters/journal entries I make to/about Sammy I call him my angel. He really really is. He is my saving grace. He saved me from a life that would have left me sad and lonely and without the spirit to guide me. He saved me from staying with a bad boyfriend. He saved me from moving to California all alone. He brought me closer to my family. He gave me a new perspective on life. He lead me to new friends that really understood what I was feeling. He gave me the strength to get up when I thought the world was full of bad people. He gave me a whole new family to love and enjoy and grow close to. He saved me. I hope he knows that I tried to save him too. I placed him in the arms of a woman that I knew could be everything that he needed.

Here's the CUTEST pictures that I have from the party!! Loves!

FOUR

Yesterday was my little Samuel's 4th birthday. He is getting so big. I love him more and more every year. I miss him too. Tomorrow is his birthday party. Then Sunday will be the anniversary of placement. This week has been and will continue to be a hard one. Wish me luck. At least I have my Hadleigh Belle-Belle to kiss on. It helped last year and I am hoping she will help me this year too!

Post more when I can be happier about things.... plus who doesn't want to see the cute kids I make?? Pictures to come too!!!

I guess I have a weekly routine

Blogging on Sunday seems to have become a routine! Finally, I have some sort of schedule. I thought with work I would have a more set schedule BUT it hasn't been that way so my life is crazy!! Finding time for everything has gotten harder! I wish that I had more of an influence at work so that I could get time off, a set schedule ect ect.

So, anyways, blogging on Sunday is nice. This week was sooo weird. Jordon worked from Saturday to Wednesday and then was gone all day Saturday and went back to work today. Us girls sure missed having him around. Luckily, we get to have him til Thursday! Want to know the best part about this week??? I only work 3 days!! And I get to play with Hads 3 days in a row and go to the temple and see our family in Blackfoot and (hopefully) get our hot tub fixed!!

Awe- this week is going to be great. I am excited. We are all excited! Can't wait for the Temple. We are doing sealings. It will be so nice!

I will update you with some pictures of our little one!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Conference was great this weekend. I missed Saturdays but we did DVR it so slowly we will be watching it on Sundays. We have to spread it out so we can actually pay attention and not just have it on. A one year old makes things more complicated at times. Anyways, I love Conference weekend for many reasons but my top 3 you ask:

  1. Great talks that make my life so much better. My questions answered. My spirit lifted.
  2. NO SHAVING... I usually only shave twice a week cuz I get razor burn and I only have to shave my legs once... no one sees my legs Sunday!
  3. My mom's Carmel rolls! Every Easter, Conference, Christmas my mom makes these delish items that I have to partake in! This year I had to beg her to make them this year!
Yes- those are a few of my favorite things about Conference. Plus I get to spend time with my family and extended family.

P.S.
My Thursday, Friday babysitter is moving.
this week.
just found out Saturday.
Luckily my Aunty T. is going to watch her.
So happy!

OK.. here we go... saddle up cowperson!

I didn't know if I should say "cowboy" or "cowgirl" so I left it as person. Please excuse the poor excuse of trying to be politically correct. I just want everyone who sees my blog to feel welcome.
So, WELCOME FRIEND!

Here is a quick run down of what has happen since the fair days 1 and 2.

A.) We went to the fair again on the last day just the 2 of us. We met up with Jake, Abbie, Venus, Jenny, and ran into Bianca and her man. I only got one picture of us on my phone but there is one of us on my facebook.
Two things about the fair this year-
STILL LOVE IT wish I could've gone everyday
We "ran" into Jordon's ex-girlfriend from High School which was a little interesting. If you are from my side of the family you know.
If not let me tell you the story.
So there we are just walking with J & A/ B& Man to look at the pictures and I see this girl that I recognize but can't place. I keep staring at her and her husband wondering "Did I help them today at the bank? Should I wave?" and then it hits me .... Oh that was Haili and Brock. Then, I look over at Jordon to see if I should wave or if he is feeling weird or what and what is he doing? Staring at the lady 2 people in front of us that has on some weird outfit!
Then while waiting to get chocolate covered strawberries, bananas and cheesecake I see them again and wonder if we really should say something. And he is off in lala land again.
When I told him that I saw her he was surprised that he didn't notice and that he was sorry.
Now normally I don't even care about ex's but this is a little different. I have only had 1 other guy besides Jordon that I would call a "boyfriend". I was more of a serial dater, who went on 2 or 3 dates a week with someone different every date. I had boys that I went on dates with more regular but they were seeing other girls too like I was other boys. I had boys that I kissed and then ditched. But no boyfriends. I never loved anyone other than Jordon and I only told one other person that I loved them. So when Jordon and I started dating he was still interested in Haili, which I understand,( I dated other boys at the beginning too) BUT what he told me was the she was the only girl he ever loved and that she was the only one that he had ever really kissed too. She held a special place in his heart. For a really long time she was the "one" for him.
I know this is getting long an you're wanting pictures.
I will end with a confession, I am slightly jealous of the fact that she was the other girl that Jordon wanted to marry. I can't help but feel a little... envious (?) that I wasn't his first love.
But he wasn't the first person I told either.
I am happy that she is normal and not some creeper!!

B.) We have lived in our lovely house for a year!! So excited to actually start painting now that Hadleigh is older and I finally have the colors picked out. Now, just to find the time...

C.) Hadleigh got some cute p.j.s that make her look so BIG!

D.) Spencer and Jackie had baby Mannix Dean and we went to see them! Hadleigh didn't like him at first but then she warmed up.. kinda. She is definitely used to being the baby. He makes Jordon baby hungry.

E.) My family had pictures and we wore purple, teal, black and white. My choice. My high school colors. Loved it! Here is what we looked like last year!

F.)
Skyler got married to Natalie. Here is what I looked like. More to come when I can get them from Valeigha.

And we have had lots and lots of cuddle time and teaching Hadleigh new things. She can say "cheese" when she sees the camera, she can say hi, eye and point to her eye, papa, manma (grandma) beep beep, yes and more! She loves books, helping Jordon on the computer, lounging on me, and climbing!

Still here.. still kickin...

BARELY!
One week down another to go! We are still here and still kickin. We have been busy with work, family, school, church and weddings just to name a few. When I have time to upload pictures I will and it may be broken into a few posts. Can't wait for you to see how our September has been.
Until then, stay safe and see you on the flip side!

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

So we went to this little thing called the fair.... Days 1 and 2

I have to say that the Fair and the Fourth of July celebrations are my favorite summer/fall activities the we have here in Idaho. I especially love spending it with Jordon. I remember in high school wanting to walk around holding hands with a boy, cuddling with him during the night acts, and riding rides til we throw up! Well.. I found him! And I love it! We get to do all the things that I wished I could do in high school.
I think that I may love the fair more than Jordon... which is a little sad but I don't care! Here are pictures from only day one and day two. We will be going again on Saturday.

Day UNO!! We got FREE tickets to get into the park and then to go to the bull riding!!

Day DOS!! We met up with Venus, Ladd, Valeigha, Mack and Mya. Skyler and one of his companions were with us for a bit too! We walked around and ate some DELICIOUS food then went to the animals. All the kids and adults loved the animals. Every time I go to the McKee's I want to walk away with a puppy!! I am a sucker for babies... any babies! Here are some more pictures of our SECOND day at the fair! I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Fall is in the air and that means FAIR TIME!!

I am so excited that it's Fair time again!! I remember taking little 6 week old Hadleigh Baby there and showing her off and eating cotton candy and riding the rides with Ladd and Valeigha and going to Blackfoot like 4 times just to walk around the fair and look at stuff. I love fairs. I wish that we had one more than once a year. Maybe I will get something cool this year... besides cotton candy! Post pictures when we are done!

Running through my head, running through my head...

RANDOM, JUMBLED THOUGHTS TONIGHT

I have been so busy with things that I just need to write them down so I don't have to stress any more about remembering the good and forgetting the bad. So whats first on my mind tonight, you ask?! Finding mini-me a babysitter for my crazy, unset work schedule. I have my family babysitting on the days they don't work which are Monday, Tuesday and Saturday. I owe them tons for helping us out these last 2 months. I know that Hadleigh has really enjoyed going to Papa and Nana's( as she calls them) house. She thinks Pono is the funniest guy and the Kai is the cuddle bug he tries to hide. She has also been able to spend some days up with Grandma Clark and the cousins and I am absolutely positive those were some of her favorite days. She has a soft spot in that little heart of hers for her cousin Mack. She likes to follow Mya around copying whatever she does.
Anyways, I have been lucky enough to find someone for Wednesdays. I worked up the courage to ask Alex if she would be able to. She is the person I trust the most with my daughter, next to family. Well, I guess she is family. You see- Alex is Sammy's mom... you know... my Sammy...
OUR Sammy. I know that Nicolas really wants a little sister so this will be good practice (hopefully) for the future!
So I have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday done. Now I need to find someone who will watch my lovey (for free or cheap) Thursday and or Friday. I have had some offers and have some numbers to call so I will undoubtedly figure it out tomorrow. I am just stressed about being able to find someone trustworthy enough to take care of my daughter.

Second thing on my mind... Am I doing the right thing? Am I being a good mom? Do we really need the income? I was freaking out about our financial situation when we bought the car and getting this job has definitely calmed that fear. And we have needed the extra income for unexpected car issues and other things so it really is a blessing. But is it blessing my daughter too? I dunno!!! I want to stay home with her and have fun all day and take naps (which I miss dearly) But I also want to know that we can make all our bills. There are too many pros and con's to both arguments that I just get confused. What do you think?

Third- I have been struggling with something that someone "said" to other members of our family in June.... Yes,
JUNE!! I have never been one to hold grudges (for very long) and I usually don't let "rumors" get under my skin (if its about me solely-others that I love is a different story!) But I have been struggling with this for far too long. The thing that bugs me the most is that it's a lie! If I was rude or had actually said what the person says I did I would admit it. But I didn't. And hurt feelings came from the lie and anger towards me and my husband for the lie has happened and is still happening. I'm an honest person. If I don't like you, or strongly disagree with you I will let you know. But PLEASE give me the respect of not twisting what I said and then embellishing on it to everyone else. And if you do lie.. don't be mad at me for a lie you made up!
I am just way too frustrated about this. And I shouldn't be! This isn't me. I let things go. I don't know what to do. I want to confront the person but I have been told repeatedly that, that wouldn't solve anything. If you have some advice please let me know! I want to live the life of aloha.

Well there you go! The things on my mind tonight. Minus making sure that I get my "to do" list done by the time Jordon gets home from school at about 11:15 tomorrow!

Pray for me to sleep well! I need it! I'm sick and tired... literally and have the next 2 days off and I want to spend it out doing stuff with Hadleigh and the Beast!

FOUND IT!!! part one

Jordon found the camera and camcorder today!! Here is the LONG update of our fun trip to Island Park and West Yellowstone. I had only been to I.P. once and W.Y. never so this was super exciting for me! We got to see some cool stuff if you read part 3! This has so many pictures so beware!
