We love ourselves some Vitamin D!!

We went swimming today!! It was so fun! Jordon worked last night so he wasn't able to come and that was sad but Hadleigh did have fun and I got tanned so it was a good day.
Hadleigh slept til 9 today and because of that I was able to get everything ready to go before she needed to be held and cuddled. It was so nice to be ready to go and then just relax with Hadleigh til the pool opened. It was little misses first time at an outdoor pool and her second time swimming ever! She did great and it wore her out and at 8 she wanted to go to sleep!! Yay for swimming!

Saturday June 26 one of my best friends is getting married and I am so excited!!! I will be posting pictures soon of Mr. and Mrs. Travis Zmak! So happy for you Crystal!

Brings a smile to my face....

These men bring a smile to my face almost daily. They are amazing and if you are one of the lucky people that know them you know why. Thanks again for being strong yet gentle, strict yet fun, quiet yet funny and worthy Priesthood holders. I am lucky to be linked to them some way or another for eternity.

I don't have a picture of David and Sammy saved on the computer so I couldn't put one on here but David is the father that Sammy's birth-father could never be. Because of him Sam has a worthy, smart, protective, strong, responsible, amazing father. Someone who he can look up to. Thank you David!

Daddy's Little Girl

I was always Daddy's little girl. Hadleigh is Daddy's little girl. Like mother, like daughter?! My dad had been a great dad. He has taught me so many things. He has been a great grandfather as well. I am so blessed to have him in my life! Because of my dad I have my Hawaiian culture which I love! We are so lucky to have the opportunity to learn about the life of ALOHA! He has always been a great support to me through all of my sports, schooling and shenanigans. I just thought that I would let you all know a little about my dad

Ten things about my dad that make me laugh...
1. He says crutch instead of crotch... he can't pronounce crotch!
2. He would slip notes and money into my basketball bags before an away game/tourney.
3. He snores... like a bear... ALL the time
4. He has always worked nights or swing so he could make more money for us.
5. He tells me that I am his favorite... often!
6. He laughs at farts... and so do I!
7. His motto when I was growing up was " If someone hits make sure that you hit them back 10 times harder so they never forget not to mess with you again."
8. He is quiet til you get to know him and then he's the jokester
9. He always falls asleep if he is holding Hadleigh
10. He doesn't act like he is over 50... which is so fun!

I also wanted to talk about my daughter's daddy! He is the best! He works so hard so that we can stay home together and play! I know that he wishes he could stay home with her more often and on the days that she drives me nuts I wish that too! He tries so hard to be here for her for every "event" whether it be for a doctors appointment or getting a new dress. He is wrapped around her little finger. She loves him so much! She will go and bang on our bedroom door when he is sleeping to wake him up. She will run to the kitchen gate when she hears him coming home in the mornings. She will hug him randomly. She loves loves loves his hair! She loves when he chases her around the house. She will follow him around pretty much everywhere some days. They make the cutest pair those two! I would list 10 things about Jordon that Hadleigh loves but I don't think I could narrow it down! I do know that I am very grateful that he holds the Priesthood honorably and that he is so active in the church. He makes me want to be better! I am so lucky to have him forever and ever!

There are so many wonderful dads out there! I am so blessed to have the "DADS" I have in my life. Heavenly Father truly knew who I needed in my life and has had the best men touch and guide my life thus far! Thank you to all those in my life!

These are just some ramblings of names that I think that I like. There are more but these are the ones that seem to make people look at me weird. Am I crazy to want all the names picked out for our future kiddos right now so we don't have the stress later??

A-choo! Sniffle, Sniffle

This last week EVERYONE in our house has been sick! It started with Hadleigh, went to Jake, then me and today Jordon said he wasn't feeling very good. I still haven't recovered yet! The last 3 days I have been sleeping as much as I can... which unfortunately means that our beast has been feeling left out. Poor thing will just cuddle and cuddle with me after I put Miss Nani to bed. I wish that I felt better so that on the 1 day it was nice out I could have taken both the babies for a walk but instead I slept. I can't wait til I feel better!

On a happier note, this week we got to hang out at my parents house everyday (ALMOST)! Monday was Pono's birthday and he is now 21! We went to Johnny B Goodes for lunch which was super fun! Then on Saturday, we went to Red Lobster for my sissy's birthday! Hallie will be 19 on the 17Th! It is so weird to think that she is as old as she is.. cuz that means that I am as old as I am! All through dinner she was playing with Jared (Hallie's bf). He was winking at her and she was trying to wink back! She would blink both eyes hard and then smile big at him! She is so funny! I wish that I would have gotten it on video.

It was fun going to lunch with them and hanging out and laughing! I especially love Sunday dinners with my family. Today we just laughed and laughed about nothing!

On Wednesday I got to go up to Blackfoot in my new HOT ride and visit the Mauger kids! Oh, how I love them! Being an aunt is the best thing in the world! I love being a mom too, don't get me wrong I love love love being a mom, BUT I love being an aunt! I love to love.... it is the greatest thing in the world. It was fun to see them and play soccer and hang out with Venus! Valeigha even came home for lunch and we got to chat for 45 minutes! I love them too!

Hadleigh is growing so fast! Next month she will ONE YEAR OLD.. can you believe it?!? Jordon is working over-time alot so that we can start painting our house, buying house decorations, and buying stuff for her LUAU! She is walking around all over the place, talking non-stop, getting into everything, and making the greatest faces!! She is a hoot!

One of the things that I love about my Hawaiian culture is our L-O-V-E for family, fun and food!! Any time we can throw a semi-huge/huge party I am totally ready for it! Jordon is in for a rude awakening when he sees just how much it is going to cost!! Actually, after seeing my parents do it for the last 23 years I think I know how to throw one reasonably priced partay!!

I got a secret!!!
No- I'm not pregnant!!! Thank Heavens! We are soooo not ready for another one in this house BUT I am getting more and more excited for another little lovey!! I keep telling Jordon that we are only having Hadleigh and maybe 2 more dogs but, in reality I can't wait to fill our house with giggles and the pitter-patter of little feet! I just thought I should finally share this secret with everyone now so that I never have to say it again. Plus, Jordon, this is an early Father's Day present!

TEETH and more

Hadleigh has 5 teeth now! She is growing up so fast! Unfortunately, she also has an ear infection... her first sickness ever! I am so sad! Well, here is how we found out.... We took her on memorial day to urgent care (since her dr's office was closed) because she had a really really bad cough. The P.A. there listened to her chest and sure enough she has the start of asthma! No wonder she wasn't sleeping, eating or pooping like normal! Poor girl could only concentrate on breathing!! He gave us 2 doses of steroids to help her out and told us to make an appointment for Wednesday with Dr. West. Wednesday we went in and had him check her out and with our history of pretty much EVERYONE having asthma in both our families he sadly told us she was doomed! Then he checked her ears and she had an ear infection too! My little trooper is just like her mom... tough! Just kidding, but really if I hadn't been so scared I think she would have just kept doing her normal thing!

I love her! I can't wait til she is 100 percent again!
