I am officially done Christmas Shopping!!! I got my last thing for Jordon on Monday while he was sleeping! I had to get my dad to get it with me because 1) I didn't know exactly which "thing" to get and needed a mans opinion AND 2)I needed the van to transport it. I am so excited for him to open it! It is really the only surprise he is getting and it's really the biggest present either of us is going to get. All of you out there going to school and have kids know what it's like to be poor! We are loving it though! My uncle told me that these are the best days.. newly wed, new baby, first holidays, nothing is quite as fun. I believe him! I like living simply. It makes me more grateful for the little extra money we have. PLUS- I am much better at managing money cuz I have to be! Wonderful life.
I know that this is getting cliche but I am going to express my love and thankfulness for my family and friends. I just love you all!! And the Lord has truly blessed me with an amazing family and extended family that is always supportive and reassuring. They are great examples of how to live the gospel. I know that my kids have the opportunity to always to protected and loved and this brings me such peace. I have been blessed with a great husband that works hard for good grades and for his paycheck. We never have to worry about going hungry or being homeless. What a great blessing to even have a job right now! Today I want to thank Valeigha specifically. Thank you for being the "big sister" I can look up to and learn from. Thank you for living your life in a way that is an example to both Jordon and I. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother and cook! Thank you for having an open heart. Thank you for being a great aunt for Hadleigh. Thank you for all the reassuring words that you have said to me lately. It really does make me feel closer to you and better about myself. Thank You Thank You Thank You!!

Celebrate Good Times- Come on!!
My birthday week ended on a wonderful note! My parents took my whole family to Red Lobster! That is my absolute favorite place to eat! Coconut Shrimp is super yummy! Then I got even more presents!!! I guess I should review the whole week for you- Thursday December 3 I got some Christmas themed socks, Friday we were super (busy- drove out to Aberdeen for Jordon's work) shopping for more Christmas decorations so we counted that as my present, Saturday I got 2 shirts and a party with my family and the in-laws. Jordon made one of my favorite cakes!! I got some cute Christmas plates, a sweater, watch bracelet, gift card to Aero, and some cards and money, Sunday I went to church and had a great lesson on service and then came home and Jord gave me a hoodie!! Monday was the real-deal birthday- Jordon made me breakfast when he got home from work while I slept and I did absolutely NOTHING all day and it was WONDERFUL! Well- I did laundry and unloaded the dish washer but other than that NOTHING! Hadleigh was great and just played with me and she even was good enough that I painted my nails! Jordon and us girls met up with my parents at Red Lobster where they paid for dinner. My sister gave me a present which was terrific! I got a soap and lotion set in my favorite Holiday scent from Bath and Bady. My parents then gave me more presents! A shirt, a necklace, and some pants- all in my new fav. color GREY!!! My brothers went in on them too so it was a family effort. My mom said that this was the hardest year yet to shop for me cuz I didn't live with them and didn't give them any ideas. Jordon said that too! I guess this year I just didn't know what I wanted! That happens when you are poor and have a kid you would rather clothe than yourself right?
Anyways- that was my birthday week! It was great and I really appreciate all that my family did for me as well as Jordon. I really can't stress how wonderful my family is. My mother is the nicest, coolest person. She goes out of her way to make others feel welcome even when she doesn't really know them. Amazing!! My mother in law does that too!
I really am going to add pictures on day I promise!

Birthday Bells!!
This week is my birthday week! Well it is starting on Thursday and will go til my real birthday on Monday. I am excited to spend it with Hadleigh and Jordon! The past 23 years have been a roller coaster ride for everyone that has come into my life. I can't wait to spend time with most of the people that mean the world to me. Unfortunately my very best friends Matt and Kyle wont be here. Matt will be in California on base teaching the new marines what it's like to be the coolest in the military! Kyle will be in San Fran at school and then Vegas for Sara's birthday! Maybe they will sneak up this way!!!
I love this season!! I HATE the cold but I LOVE the giving spirit of winter! Thanksgiving is the best holiday before Christmas! I think it gets you ready for one of the most important holidays CHRISTMAS!! I love the smell of Christmas! Holly, Cranberries, Pine tree's, hot chocolate... I could go on and on. I think that the thing that makes me the happiest is spending all this time with my family... extended family included. I am so blessed to have the amazing family that I have. So many different people and life styles but still the closeness and love a family is supposed to have. I always say if you can't turn to your family who can you turn to? And the answer to that is no one. No one loves you the way your family does. No matter what you do are say to them they will be there for you in the darkest days to pull you up and show you the light.
It has been a pretty good week so far and I am happy for that. I can't wait to update you on my birthday week surprises!!!

To Give Thanks....
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! On this day of thanks I would like to thank so many that I don't even know where to start! I guess First I should thank the Lord for the family and extended family that I have been blessed with. They are pillars of light in an ever darkening world. I would like to thank Him for the restored gospel and the power of the priesthood. I am thankful for temple blessings and ordinances performed in them. I am thankful for the atonement and for the opportunity that I have been given to repent and to work toward celestial glory. I am thankful for my husband. I want to thank him for being so strong and the testimony that he has. I am thankful that he wants to be a great husband and father. I want to thank Hadleigh for being the innocent little angel in my life and all the learning experiences she has given me! I am thankful Samuel and for the Prices. I am thankful that they are people that live the gospel to the very best of their abilities and I hope one day that I will be as good as they are. I want to thank my parents for being the AMAZING parents that they are. I aspire to one day be like them. My mom, for being able to find the good in every person, in every situation. My dad, for being the protector and breadwinner that he is and sacrificing all that he has for us. My brother Pono, for always being my example and leading the way when I wasnt. My sister Hallie, for listening to me and understanding me and just being a sister! My brother Kai, for the innocence he has and for the great understanding of the gospel that he has at such a young age!! I want to thank my in-laws for forgiving me and giving me a second chance! The love that they have shown me in remarkable and I feel closer to them each day! I want to thank my friends in the military for protecting my freedoms. To my friends that are not in the military I am thankful for the fun you bring into my life!!
I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving! I cannot wait to spend today with my family in Poky and have Jordon experience "Hawaiian" turkey!!

Thanksgiving Break!!
Jordon is officially on Thanksgiving break from school!! FINALLY sometime with my hubby! We are super excited to be free to do whatever we want. On our agenda we have to get new tires, eat lots and lots, catch a movie or 2, hang out with Hadleigh Belle and work on homework! We already got the shopping done.... well mostly. I hope that we also get to sit in the hot tub but it's not working very well right now! Dang thing! I am so thankful for all my many blessings that the Lord has given me. Our little family has seen so many wonderful things happen to us. I know that the Lord loves me and I see it everyday in my little girls eyes. She is the best! I know that if we continue to do what is right and strive to be more Christlike that He will bless us even more. I know that I am a daughter of God. And I am thankful for that knowledge. I know that He knows me and my strengths and will never give me more than I can handle. I am so grateful that He has blessed me with my wonderful parents-including my in-laws. I am thankful for my husband and the opportunity we have to be together forever! I am thankful for my siblings and fun memories that we have and will continue to make together. I am thankful for the Prices and joy that they bring into my life. I am thankful for the trials that I have overcome and the things that I have learned about myself while going through the trials. I am thankful for my life, that I am able to run and see and hear and taste. I am thankful for pretty much everything!!! I hope that everyone has a GREAT Thanksgiving!!

Recap of the last week and a half!
Wow! Wow! Wow! It has been a long time since the last time I wrote! Ok so to start... Last week Jordon's Birthday week was a blast!! We had so much fun together just goofing off and spending time together! Then on Saturday my WONDERFUL husband came home from work and we got ready for Spencer's wedding. MY husband is one of the best brothers in the world! He didn't get any sleep before the wedding and he decided to stay for the little reception after at Jeff and Venus's! I don't know if many off Jordon's friends and/or relatives would do that for him WITHOUT complaining. Not once did he complain!!! Then we came home and all three of us took a nap!! Yay for naps!
Hadleigh and I went to church with my parents because we missed our sacrament. Oops.. We all hung out Sunday night after Jordon woke up from sleeping. Most of the time we just goof around in our cute little house. Monday and Tuesday we cleaned the whole house and got some hutches for our kitchen.. which looks AMAZING!!! I can't wait til summer to paint our house and make it look even cuter!!
That is all that happened! Not to eventful but a great week and a half for us!

This week is going to be busy!!
This week is super busy but we are super stoked for it! Thursday is Jord's Birthday... the big TWO-THREE!! I believe that everyone needs a birthday week so to start it off today I made mashed potatoes (for the first time) and roast! Tomorrow I am making breakfast and giving him his first present! After he wakes up from his nap I will have our delicious fried chicken dinner ready and then hopefully HOT TUB time!! Tuesday is his birthday dinner with my family and his second present! Maybe Tuesday I will get my hair did... I hate getting it cut because every time I go I want to chop it off BUT I know that I will miss my long hair!! Then Wednesday we are having his birthday dessert with his family and he will get his third present! Thursday is his "real" birthday and I have super surprise for him!!! For sure it will be his favorite.... Friday I am not sure what I will make for dinner, but I am thinking that maybe I will get his favorite from Wingers. FINALLY on Saturday I am going to one of my favorite friends' wedding!! CONGRATS STEPH!! Jordon and I will also be attending Spencer's wedding but unfortunately not his reception because Jordon has to work that night and needs his sleep.
WOW!! What a busy week! That is the update. See ya next Sunday!

YAY!!!
I finally got this all figured out thanks to my daughter sleeping for like 10 hours one day! This week was great! Tuesday was Jordon's first day off and we had a romantic night... well kinda. We had ice cream IN the hot tub and got to go to bed early! That's about how romantic we get... we aren't one of those kissy couples. Wednesday I got to make some non-bumble bumble watches with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We have so much fun together!! Thursday was DATE NIGHT!!! We decided when I was pregnant that we were going to stop watching Rated R movies so that we could be closer to the spirit which would then help us be better parents to our daughter so we went and watched G-Force! It cracked us up! Then after the movie we went with one of our favorite people... KENNY WATERS... to eat half off appetizers and drinks at Applebee's while my parents babysat. Friday was Jordon's first day back to work so we only hung out a little before all 3 of us took a nap. Jordon went off to work while us girls sat at home missing our Knight in Shining Armor!
